Gary Appleby joins Alveo as Head of International Sales
22 March 2017 – Alveo today announces the appointment of Gary Appleby as Head of International Sales with immediate effect.
In this role, Gary will be responsible for Alveo’s EMEA and APAC sales teams, with the objectives of managing and growing the company’s existing clients’ use of its Alveo suite of services, and expanding its international client base in line with market and regulatory interest.
Reporting into CEO, Mark Hepsworth and based at Alveo’s London headquarters, Gary brings the experience of a 20 year career spanning both market data and technology solutions, combined with a strong network of senior level contacts within technology, buy and sell-side organisations.
He joins Alveo from Traiana, where he served as Head of Sales and Account Management for Europe, playing a key role in the company’s growth over his eight-year tenure. Previously, Gary held sales and leadership roles with industry leading organisations including Thomson Reuters, Bridge Information Systems and Dow Jones Telerate.
